Mumbai: Threats to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis have created a major sensation. On Friday morning, a message was sent to Mumbai traffic police via WhatsApp from a Pakistan number. The message threatened to attack the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s office. The person issuing the threats identified himself as Malik Shabaz Humayun Raja Dev. Promptly alerted by the threat message, Mumbai police tightened the security around the CM. Furthermore, officials confirmed that an investigation into the threat message had been launched.

Additionally, it is well known that Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde also received similar threats recently.
